Ryder PI (1985)

All time comedy classic from the 1980's about 2 stupid private detectives, played by Dave Hawthorne and Bob Nelson. They are on the case looking for a missing girl, and a big time drug lord. Howard Stern makes a hillarious apperance as a crazy newscaster. You have to see this to believe it. ****

Deaf Smith and Johnny Ears (1973) MGM

Good western with Franco Nero and Anthony Quinn. Anthony Quinn plays Deaf Smith, even though he can't hear he is very perceptive. Together they both fight in the war over Texas in the 1840's. Lots of action. ****

John Wayne Special "Swing out Sweet Land" 1970

This special is about America from the 1600's to early 1900's. Many famous stars of the 50's -70's play the roles. Michael Landon as Peter Minuet, Dean Martin as Eli Whitney, Bob Hope as George Washington entertaining the troops at Vally Forge. Even though this is a comedy, it is good for kids to see, because they do give a lot of information about the basic foundations of America. There are also good music performances by Johnny Cash, and Roy Clark. Broadcast only once thought to be lost. Now availiable on DVD from MPI. ****

Green Glove (1952) United Artists

Good film starring Glen Ford as an American GI returning to France after the war to search for a priceless Green Glove covered in diamonds that was left behind. ***
